It's a bug in Word for Mac. See http://bibword.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Styles_FAQ&referringTitle=Documentation#Q2 for a solution.

New Post: Most recent version of Harvard Anglia
Good Morning,
I need to use the Harvard Anglia citation style in MS-Word 2007, and wonder if this available download:
http://bibword.codeplex.com/releases/view/19783
is based on the latest edition?:

Thank you.

Hi.
These are the places where the style files should be copied to (Windows 7/Vista):
Word 2010
64 bits: %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office14\Bibliography\Style
32 bits: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office14\Bibliography\Style
Word 2007
64 bits: %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office12\Bibliography\Style
32 bits: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office12\Bibliography\Style
Hope that helps.

New Post: Format for De Montfort University?
Hi there,
How easy would it be to create a Harvard Referencing Guide based following DMU's guideline, found in this url? http://www.library.dmu.ac.uk/Images/Selfstudy/Harvard.pdf (this is a public url)
I'd be happy to help with it.
New Post: Word 2013 Installation?
I am trying to install some of the styles for Word 2013, but the path to the bibliography style folder seems to have changed, and I can't seem to find anything that looks right. Does anybody know how to get this working in Word 2013?
New Post: APA subsequent in-text citations wrong
Hello everyone,
Hello everyone,
I'm writing a paper in APA (6th ed) and actually the referencing works really well. There are just two details that are wrong and I can't fix them any other than doing it manually at the end. It's all about subsequent in-text citations in two cases:
1. APA requires you to write out the names of all authors in a source written by three to five authors. However, the second time you cite this source, you only use the first author and "et al".
2. For corporate authors with long, well-known titles you're only required to cite the full title the first time, the second time the short title is enough.
Is there any way to fix this with coding or something like this? Or has someone created a perfect APA referencing code?
Thank you,
Oz

New Post: Most recent version of Harvard Anglia
Probably not. It was up-to-date with Harvard Anglia when it was released but I would be really surprised if they haven't updated their style by now (bug fixing, new electronic standards, ...)
If you update the style you are more than welcome to provide me with a copy I can put here.
New Post: Format for De Montfort University?
It's a Harvard family style (author-year) so it should not be all that hard. There are several examples of such styles on this site you can start from. The only problem is that not all those types are supported by Word (images and diagrams, ...)
New Post: whole name in ABNT
In ABNT, when the application collects all citations and creates the final list of references, all names are showed in a abreviated form. For example - Leandro Sarai is showed as "SARAI, L.".
Is it possible to show the whole name instead?
Thanks!

Hi friend,
Same problem here. =/
New Post: Word 2013 Installation?
I have the same issue using the new Microsoft Surface RT. It comes with Office 2013 already installed. I have posted this problem on the Surface Forum Website. Here is the URL: http://www.surfaceforums.net/forum/microsoft-surface-general-discussion/1955-microsoft-word-surface-rt-citation-styles-limitation.html
I would like to use the Chicago Style for footnotes, which I have already done on Office 2010. I have found some directories to put the Style into, but they don't get recognized by Word. These directories include:
1) C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Bibli ography\Style
and
2) C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\Bibliography\Style
3)C:\Users\"User"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Template s\LiveContent\15\Managed\Word Document Bibliography Styles .
I'm thinking that the CMSfootnotes style needs to be updated to work with Office 2013
Making this work would be fantastic, since I hate having to use another machine just to insert a citation.
Thanks
New Post: Word 2013 Installation?
I don't have access to a system with Word 2013. So I can't experiment. But if you can send me one of the XSL files from your computer (e.g. Chicago.xsl) I might be able to deduce what changed.
New Post: Word 2013 Installation?
Yves, I'm having the same problem with the CSE template. It doesn't work with Word 2013 as they have completely changed the files to use tests that are validated. I don't have the time to rewrite it in time for my paper. I can't figure out how to attach the built-in xml sheet to this as it keeps freezing with the code snippet as it's quite large. could you please email me at lluciano1@msn.com and I'll send you one of the files.
New Post: Word 2013 Installation?
Yves,
I replied to the e-mail sent to me from your last post. I attached an XSL file from Office 2013. Hopefully you got it.
I appreciate your help.
New Post: Word 2013 Installation?
Hi! I'm also having the same problem. I was wondering if this was already resolved? Thanks! I'm trying to insert the AMA Style of citation.
